How is it different from Thermage FLX?
Both devices are radiofrequency (RF) lifting treatments, but Density can deliver monopolar and bipolar radiofrequency together or selectively, so it targets the surface and deeper layers of the skin at the same time.
Is the treatment quite painful? Is it less painful than Thermage?
Thanks to a well-developed 5-level cooling system (intelligent cooling) and cooling-gas spray function, the pain burden tends to be lower than with Thermage. In many cases the treatment can be received comfortably with topical anesthesia alone.
What is the difference between Density High and Density Classic?
The difference lies in the modes and tips. Classic is mainly monopolar (deep layers), whereas Density High delivers monopolar and bipolar (shallow layers) energy in combination, transmitting heat densely from the upper to the lower dermis.
When do results appear and how long do they last?
You may feel a slight tightening right after the treatment, and from 2 to 4 weeks later, as collagen is produced, the improvement in fine lines and skin elasticity becomes fully apparent. The results usually last about 6 months to 1 year.
Is there a risk of side effects such as cheek hollowing or fat loss?
As a radiofrequency-based treatment, it does not strongly destroy fat, so the risk of cheek hollowing is very low. In addition, impedance (skin resistance) is measured in real time during the treatment to adjust the energy, so safety is high.
How many shots are most effective?
For the whole face, about 600 shots are most commonly used, and the number of shots is added or adjusted according to areas of concern such as the neck or around the eyes.
How much downtime (swelling, redness) is there after the treatment?
As a non-invasive treatment with no damage to the epidermis, there is almost no downtime other than slight redness or a faint warm sensation right after treatment. You can wash your face and wear makeup the same day.
Can it be combined with Ulthera or skin boosters?
Yes. You can use an 'Ul-Density' combination, lifting the deep SMAS layer with Ulthera/Ulthera Prime and filling in dermal elasticity with Density, or combine it with skin boosters (such as Rejuran) for a synergistic effect.
Is there a separate eye-area tip (eye tip)?
Yes, there is an eye tip dedicated to the eye area and thin skin, which allows precise care for thin, drooping eyelids and fine lines around the eyes.
How do I confirm the tip is genuine?
Density must also use a genuine single-use tip, so before the treatment we show you the unopened state of the tip and issue a genuine-product authentication sticker and warranty certificate.
