How is it different from other radiofrequency (RF) devices such as Thermage or Oligio?
Volnewmer is a 6.78 MHz monopolar radiofrequency device, the same as Thermage, but thanks to its continuous water-cooled cooling and vibration system, skin irritation and pain are greatly reduced, and its curved tip structure (hidden edge) lowers the risk of side effects.
Is there really no pain during the treatment? Is it possible without numbing cream?
It features 6-level cooling control and a 5-level vibration system that greatly relieve pain. There is little pain even without numbing cream, so it is often called the 'painless Thermage' performed without anesthesia.
How many shots are most effective?
For the whole face, about 600 shots are generally recommended. For specific areas such as around the eyes or neck wrinkles, or when sagging is severe, more than 600 shots are recommended.
When do results appear and how long do they last?
From 2 to 4 weeks after the treatment, the skin begins to feel firmer and dermal collagen remodeling begins, with the best results appearing around months 2 to 3. For duration, we generally advise about 6 months based on 600 shots.
Can it be combined with ultrasound (HIFU) treatments such as Ulthera, Shurink, or Shurink Universe?
Yes. You can receive an 'Ul-thermage' effect more cost-effectively by lifting the deep SMAS layer with Ulthera and filling in dermal elasticity with Volnewmer.
How do the Volnewmer dedicated tip types (V-Tip, F-Tip, I-Tip, S-Tip) differ?
In addition to the basic whole-face tip (F-Tip), there are area-specific custom tips such as tips dedicated to the eye area and curved surfaces (I-Tip, S-Tip) and a body tip (V-Tip).
How much downtime (bruising, swelling, redness) is there after the treatment?
As a non-invasive treatment with no damage to the epidermis, there is no downtime other than slight warmth and faint redness after the treatment, so you can wash your face and wear makeup the same day.
How do I confirm the use of a genuine tip and its authentication?
It operates on a single-use tip system that prevents reuse of genuine tips, so you can confirm this by checking that the tip is opened right before the treatment and by receiving a genuine-product authentication sticker/warranty certificate after the treatment.
When there is lingering warmth right after the treatment, can I use a cold mask pack or cooling care?
Radiofrequency energy works by forming effective thermal stimulation points (heat points) within the skin to regenerate collagen, so cooling the warmth immediately with a very cold pack or ice compress right after the treatment can reduce the effect. We recommend avoiding cooling actions for about 1 to 2 days.
Why is the cushion tip (hidden edge) structure beneficial? Is the burn risk lower?
The Volnewmer tip uses hidden-edge technology in which the rim is slightly rounded. This lowers the risk of burns (edge burns) caused by charge concentrating at the tip's edge and allows energy to be delivered safely with the tip adhering seamlessly to the skin.
